On Thursday 9th of April, the Senior Pennant Finals which was held at the Churchill Waverly (Churchill Park) Golf Course. The players battled the wind but thankfully not the rain with the last groups finishing shortly before it started to bucket down at the course with the horn being rung to call other players in due to lightning.
There were 3 Divisions off the 1st Tee and 4 Divisions off the 10th Tee.
The results are as follows:
Thomson Division – Northcote Grey def Lakeside Swans – 4 to 2.
Graham Division – Westgate def Camberwell – 4.5 to 1.5.
Nagle Division – Lakeside Lions def by Brighton – 3.5 to 2.5.
Norman Division – Mt Martha def Tirhatuan – 4 to 2.
Von Nida Division – Craigieburn Willmott def Royal Park Vets 1 – 4 to 2.
Crampton Division – Centenary Park def by Eastern Sward 1 – 5 to 3.
Pickworth Division – Dorset White def by Sandringham 5 to 3.
