On Sunday the 17th of May, the first week of the Handicap Pennant Finals and the Scratch 1 Semi Finals were held at the Werribee Park Golf Course. Overnight rain continued at the start of everyone’s rounds and threatened to put a real dampener on the day. Fortunately, the rain cleared a bit after 9am and all finals were completed with four of the 7 finals played finishing 4.5 to 3.5 in very tight contests!

Division 8 – Westgate 2 def Eastern Sward 2 – 6.5-1.5.
Division 9 – Waterford Valley def by Melbourne Samoa – 3.5-4.5.
Division 10 – Altona Lakes Swans def Brighton 2 – 4.5-3.5.
Division 11 – Craigieburn Willmott Gold def by Camberwell 2 – 3.5-4.5.
Scratch 1 Semi Final – Growling Frog def by Brighton – 3.5-4.5.
Scratch 1 Semi Final – Waterford Valley def Ringwood – 5.5-2.5.
