On Monday the 8th of September the VGL Cup Women’s Teams Event was held at Churchill Waverly (Endeavour Hills) Golf Club. Players from16 clubs, made the trip to the course for an 8:00am shotgun start, followed by a light lunch
At the end of the day, it was Glen Waverly who won the trophy for the first time in 32 years, taking out the Cup by 5 points from joint runners up Ringwood and Riverview Ladies.
